NOSLOC

I meant to write about my new feeding system months ago but never got around to it. I am now using NOSLOC exclusively with my birds.
From the NOSLOC site:

The NOSLOC™ feeder works on gravity. Usually a bucket (20 Litre) has a feeder nozzle screwed to the bottom of the bucket and feed placed into it which runs into the nozzle. Depending on how the nozzle is set up the feed particles lock against each other into the nozzle, hence the name NOSLOC™, and stays there. The birds quickly learn to tap the nozzle which releases the feed. When the bird or birds stop tapping, the feed stops running. Thus we have an on demand gravity feeder which is only activated by your target bird rather than pest species like sparrows, mynas etc.
The birds learned quickly that their food was now being supplied by a vending machine. My rodent problem has moved to greener pastures and there is no wastage. You can read about BYP members who also use them HERE. The parent company is in New Zealand but I purchased mine by mail order form:

Marilyn was very helpful and the products arrived packaged well and in good time. Let me know if you end up buying them. If you live near me you are welcome to come and see mine in action.
