The Good Egg

I candled Flo's eggs for the first time tonight. She is sitting on six eggs which look like the image above and should produce ducklings. Two others are completely dark except for the air sac. I have marked the two dark ones and will need to work out whether they are 'bombs' or fertile eggs that are somehow further along than the others. If the two dark ones are viable then I think they will hatch earlier which means hand raising and a smelly broody box. Hmmm. Decisions, decisions.
