When I went to let everyone out and change Flo's water this morning there was an empty egg out of the nest. And a tiny wet duckling hiding under her. It wasn't moving and looked dead but then it started peeping!
Oooh. I hope it fluffs up soon. And I hope a sibling hatches safely too.
I have told the kids but warned them that baby animals don't always survive. Here's hoping...
