My dogs killed my beautiful Muzzie 'Priscilla' today.I didn't discover it until late this arvo.
Somehow the gate had been left open and they killed her and ate all the eggs (unfertile chook eggs) she was sitting on.
The dogs have also injured 'Flo', the Bantam Saxony mother of my ducklings. She is in a hospital cage for tonight but I will be taking her to the vet tomorrow to be euthanased.
We are very sad here today. I was in the process of organising some Dark Campbell eggs for her to sit on.
On a happier note, two more ducklings went to their new home today.
