Arabella 
DixieI took Dixie and Arabella off their nests today. I have had very kind offers to replace the eggs taken in the great duck massacre but have decided that there will be no more babies at The Blue Mountains Menagerie this season.
Dixie and Arabella were sitting tightly but I have calculated that any bubs to hatch would arrive at Christmas. Too much responsibility for me to look after them at that time. Hopefully the girls will 'uncluck' quickly and go back to their usual chooky and ducky behaviour soon.
