We spent Fathers' Day in Hyde Park having lunch and then enjoying the Flower Show at David Jones. The displays are amazing. One window recreated an undersea scene with barnacles and coral and seaweed all out of plants. We even spied some flowering Wandering Jew amongst the glamour girls of the flower world.

Fathers' Day and Flower Fun
We spent Fathers' Day in Hyde Park having lunch and then enjoying the Flower Show at David Jones. The displays are amazing. One window recreated an undersea scene with barnacles and coral and seaweed all out of plants. We even spied some flowering Wandering Jew amongst the glamour girls of the flower world.

Love the gum tree flower..... Im currently in India volunteering as a english teacher. My friend and I just had class with 7th standard girls who are learning 'give me a home amongst the gum trees' - it's so funny... last time I was here they learnt "kookaburra sits in the old gum tree"... so it's good to see the gum..
