Granddaughters of Dead Butchers Society

My Grandfather was a butcher. I once had dinner with three friends and by coincidence we discovered we were all Granddaughters of dead butchers. Bizarre, I know but what can I say? We immediately created a secret handshake and have never looked back. If you are the Granddaughter or Great Granddaughter of a dead butcher I'd love to know. I'll even share the handshake if you qualify!

What a strange connection you have with your friends - but kind of warming. My grandfathers on both sides were railway men. I always thought that was fairly unique. I think it's important to understand what our ancestors did, it's part of our history and our story. Goodluck finding other members of your society...
